If there's a .htaccess file at the WordPress installation folder, copy this line at TOP of the existing rules. If no .htaccess file found, create one and add this line.


Note: If your old permalink setting was using %postname% tag anywhere in the structure, it will be used to redirect old URLs to the new. If not, a secondary redirection (from default to new) will take place in order to properly redirect to the new URLs.
